Over 40 years, three names: Bonn Textil, Ufukhan Textil, today Ali's Schneider Atelier. Ali Hamurcuoglu arrived in Bonn in 1982 and took over the tailor shop at Bonner Talweg 46C in 1983 — a craft shaped by his mother, a master dressmaker. When the atelier celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2023, more than 400 guests came.

- 1959 — Born in Dereli near Giresun; his mother is a master dressmaker.
- 1982 — Arrives in Bonn.
- October 1983 — Takes over the tailor shop at Bonner Talweg 46C — a tailor has stood there for 60–70 years.
- 1986 — Second branch in Ippendorf, run by his brother (until 2019).
- 2003 — Becomes a German citizen.
- 2022 — Portrait on the NRWision show “Bonner Südstadt Radio”.
- 2023 — 40 years: more than 400 guests at the anniversary, portrait in the General-Anzeiger.
